Business Plan Competition

Registration of Business Plan
All participating teams should first register online via the "Application Form" link on the website by 5:00pm on November 9th, 2001. Teams that register earlier will be able to request the assistance of a mentor and other business advisers that can be provided by the competition organisers.
Upon registration, teams will receive a registration number that will identify their team throughout the competition.

Business Plan Entries
All business plan entries are due by 5:00pm on November 9th, 2001. All entries should be submitted in hard copy to the administration office at the Commerce Department of Murdoch University between the hours of 8am-5pm.

Business Plan Competition Details
The following is a checklist of hard copy materials required to be submitted with the entry are:
  ·   Each team's executive summary.
  ·   Resumes of all team members.
  ·   Copy of the completed team registration form.
Business plans will be judged based on the overall fundability of the business idea. The most important judging criteria will be the viability of the overall business idea and other important considerations will be given to the size of overall market opportunity and strength of management team.
Business Plans should be no more than 25 pages long and provide a concise outline of your team's business idea. with an executive summary.
Your completed business plan MUST start with an executive summary.

Judging of Business Plans
The business plans will be judged by a panel of judges.
The five best business plans will make a presentation of their business plans on the Final on Friday November 16th, 2001. The presentation of the business plan forms part of the judging criteria for the competition winners.
