Business Plan Presentation Round

Registration and Submission of Business Plan Presentation
All Business Plan entrants will automatically be registered for the Business Presentation Competition. Teams will use the same registration number for both entries.

Business Presentation Competition Details
Teams should plan on preparing a fifteen-minute stand alone presentation of their business idea or concept. All team members are encouraged to attend the event, and all team members need be part of the presentation at the finals.
The presentation will be interactive, with the judges and the audience asking questions after the presentation for a maximum time of 5 minutes after the presentation.
Teams will be presenting to a panel of judges in a lecture theatre and should expect other competitors and members of the public to be in the audience when making their presentation.
Teams may make use of demonstrations and presentation tools however teams should be advised that their time is limited and they so they shouldn't spend too much time showing off a prototype at the expense of presenting the entire business idea or concept.
All finalist teams will be required to make their business plan presentation on the 16th November, 2001. As the event approaches, teams will be emailed with their time slot. Teams are requested to arrive at the lecture theatre before all presentations commence and not to leave until after the final presentation is concluded. Teams are encouraged to invite others to attend this event as spectators and supporters.

Judging Winners
The panel of judges will base their decision of the winner on both the business plan and the business plan presentations. The audience will also vote for a People's Choice Award based on the presentations only.

Award Ceremony
After the Final's of the Business Presentation Competition there will be a chance to discuss with judges and other teams. All team members and guests are invited to attend the drinks and nibbles. This will be followed by the presentation of the winners of the prizes in the competitions.
